Serving the Plano community since 1970

"Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children" - Kiwanis Mission

Local clubs look out for our communities and the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty.

We are generous with our time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way.

For more than a century, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless of the community in which they live. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things can happen. The Kiwanis Club of Plano, Texas was founded in 1970. It is a part of Kiwanis International , which hosts 8,500 clubs world wide, with over half a million members in more than 90 countries. We have a history of growth and community support in Plano that exemplifies the goal of Kiwanis. Plano Kiwanis Club consists of men and women of all ages who lead active lives, have a strong desire for community service and enjoy social fellowship.

The Club is active in the Plano community, supporting fundraisers and other charitable activities, especially those in support of our area's youth. The Texas-Oklahoma District is a very strong district with over 7,100 members. Kiwanis raises at least $75-$80 million each year. In fact, last year our local club raised more than $5,000 for the benefit of our youth and senior citizens here in our community. Kiwanis raises more money than any other service organization worldwide through the 6 million service hours our members perform.

The Kiwanis Plano Club meets every 3rd Thursday at 11:45am at the Tino's Too (2205 K Avenue, Plano)
